COR COVID-19 RESPONSE

We all at COR deeply value the health and well-being of our employees, patients, and community. In accordance with the government issued “Shelter in Place” order, our doors will be remaining open as an exempt healthcare facility providing care with CDC safety recommendations. Our Fitness and Personal Training facility is not considered “essential” and will be closed during this time. However, fitness coaching is available remotely via Remote Fitness.

Please do not come to the clinic if you are feeling ill, have a cough, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, or have a fever.

What COR is doing:

  1. Taking our temperature every morning to ensure we do not have a fever. We are using 100 degrees F as our cut off point.
  2. Wearing a make during all sessions. We have a mask for each work day and rotate them during the week to ensure they have adequate time between wears.
  3. Washing our hands with soap and water and sanitizer before, during and after your sessions.
  4. Wearing clean gloves during your sessions.
  5. Cleaning all surfaces (mat table, chair, side table, light switch, door handle, etc) with CDC approved cleaners before and after each session. We are alternating treatment rooms each session to allow adequate time for the cleaner to work.
  6. Discontinuing the use of linens for our sessions to ensure the cleanest environment possible.
  7. Minimizing equipment use and disinfecting any equipment used during the session with CDC approved cleaners.
  8. Using tongue depressors to remove any massage cream from the container to decrease the risk of contamination.

What you can do for us:

  1. Wear a face covering or mask during your session.
  2. Take your temperature prior to the session. Please report this to your therapist prior to your session so we can record in our records. This is required. Please do not come to the clinic if you have a temperature of 100 degrees F or higher.
  3. Sanitize and/or wash your hands for 20 seconds before and after your session.
  4. We recommend changing your clothes after your session.

Telehealth Physical Therapy

Why Lose Ground When you’ve worked so hard?

We suggest that instead of canceling your upcoming visits , you request a Telehealth appointment by calling our office at 408-839-0563.

Recent changes have allowed for increased Telehealth capabilities. We can now serve you through most video communication platforms including Jane, FaceTime, Google Hangouts, or any platform of your preference.

Private Pay – TeleHealth Physical Therapy is available to all our current and prospective Physical Therapy patients on a normal fee schedule. Frequency and duration of sessions will be determined together with your provider based on your individual needs. Contact your provider and Client Liaison to get yourself back on the path to success.

Medicare – Thank you for your patience as CMS (Medicare) is continually altering their regulations of covered physical therapy benefits and there is great news. Both existing and new patients are eligible to receive TeleHeath visits every 3rd day as medically necessary, in lieu of you having to come into the clinic.  Also, electronic communication and video services as deemed medically necessary thru a period once every 7 days “e-visits” are also available and a covered benefit. If you should choose to reach out to our scheduling staff to make an appointment, the frequency and duration of sessions will be determined together with your physical therapist based on your necessities.
